Western Team

KSU IHSA Stock Team

The Western Team is coached by Clarissa Lierz, and competes in western horsemanship, western rail, ranch riding, and reining while competing based on riding position and ability. The Western Team strives to grow in their riding ability through competition and practice rides.

Clarissa Lierz

Clarissa Lierz is the western coach for the IHSA Equestrian Team club at K-State. Clarissa graduated from Texas A&M and Kansas State, where she competed and helped couch their horse judging teams. She currently works for K-State as an Extension Agent for Atchison County along side coaching our western team.​
