Western Team
KSU IHSA Stock Team
The Western Team is coached by Clarissa Lierz, and competes in western horsemanship, western rail, ranch riding, and reining while competing based on riding position and ability. The Western Team strives to grow in their riding ability through competition and practice rides.
OUR COACH
Clarissa Lierz
Clarissa, originally from Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, has been dedicated in the equine industry for over 20 years, with over 12 years of coaching students. Her competitive experience spans from coaching judging teams, coaching youth riders and riding in associations such as the American Quarter Horse Association, Pinto Horse Association, United States Eventing Association, and Stock Horses of Texas.
In addition to coaching the western team in her spare time, she serves as an Extension Agent for K-state Extension, continuing her commitment to advancing agriculture education and youth outreach.
