OUR CLUB
The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Equestrian Club Team at Kansas State University is a student organization that provides an opportunity for full-time dedicated students to be able to ride and compete in both the hunt seat and western disciplines while attending Kansas State University. Under the training of Ann White and Sarah Mattocks, out of Vermillion Valley Equestrian Center, students of any riding experience will be able to develop their horsemanship skills, including horse management, knowledge, and athleticism.
However, we are more than a team. We strive to offer opportunities for individuals who love horses, but don't have the time to ride. That's why our club holds events, socials, and volunteer opportunities throughout the year so that all members can get involved and we can build a community centered around horses!
Meetings
Our club meets once a month to discuss important upcoming events, opportunities, play horse trivia and more! This is a time for everyone to get together and talk about ways to improve and get more involved. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings!
Socials
Our club is more than just riding horses. We hold various social events throughout the semester for our members that share a love for horses! Whether it be going out for pizza after meetings, having banquets, or hosting bonfires, we are always up to something! Make sure to check the calendar to see what's coming up next!
